Flakes of Snow.

The flakes of snow are falling, the flakes so fluffy-white; They glisten o’ver God’s countrysides, It’s beauty at its height.
They ermine-tip the branches of trees, now bleak and bare,
and offtimes weigh them downward as if the’re bowed in prayer.
The flakes of snow are falling on the meadowlands and hills; What a bright and placid scene when days are winter-filled!
