My world of being new mom...

>> Thursday, February 28, 2008

Around 11:05 P.M. here, nothing to do after I let my baby sleep. So I do something for my blog and just to visit in different blogs or sites while waiting my husband from his work. He is in night shift, sooner he is at home. My baby can sleep well and I hope he let me sleep this night and not being fussy. Sometimes he is really fussy especially if he has diapers wet and to demands milk, because I do breast feeding so easy me to prepare for him. Being a newly mother it's really challenging and making me more responsible. Really give more time to him and must see to it he is OK.

Shopping with coupons..

>> Sunday, February 17, 2008

Since I was started shopping alone I really like to find discounts in different stores. Tha'ts why I made long time for shopping but I enjoyed it. Now that I'm in the US and married , much more me to be conserved or responsible in regards of money or in shopping. What will I do every weekend? I do find coupons with in newspapers. I collect it and everytime time we go on shop, I used it for discount products. Yesterday I found out not only in the newspaper we find some coupons I do researched and here some ways to find it. I share this researched I made..
One of Clark's most recent polls was about coupons and how you get them. Clark is serious about the benefits of coupons and was surprised when the second most popular answer was that you don't use them.
But the good news is that most people do use them, and the majority of you still get them the old-fashioned way through newspapers. The least popular method of getting them, according to the poll, was through your cell phone. You may recall that Clark recently talked about a company called CellFire.com that delivers coupons to your handset. Clark tried this service and it kept draining his battery, so he had to delete it.
He also recently spoke to coupon guru Stephanie Nelson and she said she's a big fan of the color coupon inserts in the newspapers too.
Clark really means it about coupons. He clips them and keeps them in his wallet for later use. While he's not coupon obsessed like some people, he thinks they can make a big difference in your life if your budget is pinched. You can save tax-free money by taking a few minutes to clip and organize them. It's so easy.

Some sharing tips for Valentine's Day...

>> Thursday, February 14, 2008

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day and I know how important to a single person who are in love or in loved, to expressed their feelings. So, I do researched some tips for Romantic Dating. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!!!!

Romantic Dating Tips

Guys and girls, if you think you are poor at romancing and you need to add some spark to your love life, then I've got some brilliant romantic dating tips for you. And trust me these dating tips for singles will enlighten your love life, if you follow them sincerely. One thing I would like to say is that some people are in a misconception that only good-looking people are blessed with this wonderful gift called love. But guys, had that been the case, then all the superstars would have been the happiest people on earth. Well I believe it's all about destiny. But please if you are fortunate enough to get the love of the person you had always longed for, then don't let it go. And remember it's very important to nurture your relationship so as to maintain its freshness.
So guys and girls, check out some top dating tips so as to add on spice in your love affair: -

Taking your date for granted won't help. So if you plan to go on a date, then prepare yourself thoroughly for it. And please don't make your date a friends gathering, so no friends please. It's your special moment so only you should be a part of it.
You are going on a date, so groom yourself. Go in for a nice stylish haircut.
If you've put on some extra inches, then start exercising now. If you'll work on your plumpness, within a few days you'll be back in your original shape. Trust me if you look smart, that helps in boosting your confidence which will go a long way in handling your sweetie pie romantically.
Giving yourself a new fresh look will pave way for your lover to get excited about romancing. Shop for a gorgeous dress.
Going on a romantic movie is a fabulous idea. And after the film, take your darling to his/her favorite restaurant and order for your partner's favorite cuisine.
Complement your lover.
Be expressive. Well a date is all about confessing the eternal feelings of heart so don't hesitate. Say I love you to your valentine looking straight into his/her eyes. One thing that matters is whatever you say, whatever you do, mean it.

To end the note I would like to quote the words of Lord Tennyson," It's better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all."

Some health tips which I shared of, for today.. I researched this..

>> Sunday, February 10, 2008

I researched on how to weight loss due to my gained weight because of my pregnancy stage... at least I can have this info before I've done my weight loss soon...

Important Things to Know Before You Join a Weight Loss Program

1. What is my BMI and how do I calculate it?
BMI means Body Mass Index. The value is associated with body fat and health risks.
Healthy weight is defined as a BMI equal to or greater than 19 and less than 25 among all people aged 20 or over. Between 25 and 29.9 is considered overweight; more than 30 is considered obese.
To determine body mass index: [Weight in pounds ÷ Height in inches ÷ Height in inches] x 703.
Fractions and ounces must be entered as decimal values.
The metric formula is: BMI= Body Weight(kg)/height(m)2. Remember that: 2.2 lbs.=1 kg and 39.4 ins.=1m.
For example, if you are 1.75 M tall and weigh 80 kg. , your BMI will be = 80/1.75X1.75 = 26.122, i.e. slightly overweight (Always keep in mind that "obesity" is defined as a BMI greater than 30) 2. What are carbs, proteins, fats?
Carbohydrates provide your body with its basic fuel, very much like a car engine and gasoline. Glucose goes directly into the cells, which convert it into the energy they need.
There are two types of carbohydrates:
Simple carbohydrates (also called "sugars" on food package labels): glucose etc.
Complex carbohydrates ("starches"), made up of chains of glucose molecules, which is simply a way plants store glucose.
Starches can be found in great quantities in most grains (wheat, corn, oats, rice) and things like potatoes and plantains.
Your digestive system breaks a starch back down into its component glucose molecules so that the glucose can enter your bloodstream.
Carbohydrates provide cells with energy, proteins provide cells with the building material they need to grow and maintain their structure.
Protein can be found in both animal and vegetable foods. Most animal sources (meat, milk, eggs) provide "complete protein": they contain all of the essential amino acids.
Fats are also an important part of our diet. Many foods contain fat in different amounts. High-fat foods include dairy products like butter and cream as well as mayonnaise and oils.
There are two kinds of fats: saturated and unsaturated.
Fat is necessary because: the only way to get certain fat-soluble vitamins is to eat fat, your body has no way to make certain essential fats, so you must get them in your food.
Another reason is that fat is a good source of energy, in fact it contains twice as many calories per gram as do carbohydrates or proteins. Your body can burn fat as fuel when necessary
3. What else does my body need?
Mainly vitamins and minerals. These can be found in various foods, fruits, etc..It seems the "Standard Western Diet" is deficient in vitamins and minerals. This has led to the creation of vitamin and mineral supplements.
4. What are the dangers of being overweight (too fat)?
When it gets to a certain level, overweight becomes "obesity", which has been described as "a serious, chronic disease that is known to reduce life span, increase disability and lead to many serious illnesses including diabetes, heart disease and stroke, cancer, osteoarthritis, sleep apnea, gall bladder disease, gout."
5. What exactly is Atkins diet?
Dr. Atkins diet, first introduced in 1972, is strictly focused on limiting carbohydrate consumption.
That is why it is called a low-carb, high-protein diet or sometimes simply a low-carb diet, together with other diets such as South Beach Diet, Protein Power Diet etc...For more on the Atkins Diet, see Questions about Atkins Diet

Some sharing of what I watched on T.V. and some researched I made...

>> Thursday, February 7, 2008

One morning I watched Tyrabank show. It was interesting to me because it 's all about kids or teenagers involved in Cyber Bullying. It was sad to know that some kids had a tragic life and they commit suicide because of being bully online. As a parent it's so painful to know about this. We must update our kids especially if we feel they have some problems in school or with friends.
Bullying that once took place in the school yard, now takes place online, leaving parents and children feeling frustrated and helpless. Most parents are unaware of this new phenomenon. Don't let Cyberbullies ruin your child's quality of life and impact their safety.

FRIENDSHIP MEME

-->Start Here<--

Friends

Anger is only one letter short of danger. If someone betrays you once, it is his fault; If he betrays you twice, it is your fault. Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people. He, who loses money, loses much; He, who loses a friend, loses much more; He, who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others. You can't live long enough to make them all yourself. Friends, you and me...You brought another friend...And then there were 3...We started our group...Our circle of friends...And like that circle...There is no beginning or end...Yesterday is history.Tomorrow is mystery.Today is a gift.
So now, let's see how many circle's of friends we can make by simply adding your link on this Friendship Meme!

So we went there and he submit of the requirements needed. Hopefully everything's OK because I know how happy my husband will be for this...I do really support him all the way...
