Plantar Fasciitis

I was just browsing on the Internet and I came across the topic regarding Plantar Fasciitis. It is said that it often causes morning heel pain. I was very interested to know about this because my husband experienced this kind of heel pain in past years. In my research of Plantar Fasciitis, it is an inflammation, usually caused by an injury of the plantar fascia which is the ligament in between the front of the heel and the base of the heel bone and the base of the toes which helps support the arch. Also in my search, I found a site called footmart.com where you can find night splints to help provide you with mornings free from chronic pain.

This plantar fasciitis thing is supposed to be really, really painful. I think you can get cortisone shots to help or something. Ouch!
