Sunny and windy day which is great for cleaning

As I've said before we have a nice weekend here along with a nice sunny and windy day which is great for cleaning our front and backyard. Yes we took some photos while our little boy enjoyed playing, walking and even tried helping us. Below are some photos we took.

At first he was just walking in the pile seeds from the maple trees.

Finally he grabbed the broom I used and he tried to help me, lol.

And then he's laying eggs there, lol. He really tried to help me by putting those seeds in the paper bag.

I have a good appetite

Having an active little boy, it is hard for me to say I gained weight. Yes I want to gain a little weight but I can't. I'm always weighing myself hoping I gained some weight. Honestly I have a good appetite especially at night time. That's why my husband keeps telling me that he is jealous because I can eat a lot more than him but my weight stays the same. At this time, I need to focus on my active little boy which means I use more energy from the food I eat. But when he is less dependent then that's the time I will need an appetite suppressant especially if my weight starts going up.

Nice weekend

We have a nice weekend here. Even though I woke up quite late due to getting to sleep late last night but still we did cleaning outside. Yes, my little boy was so active last night and he didn't want to sleep until really late. This afternoon after we finished everything inside our house my husband and I decided to clean outside. As I shared many times here, I like and enjoy working under the sun. Yes, every time we do cleaning in our front and backyard, I always ask my husband to let me help to clean up. My part is the front yard and his is the backyard. So today I used the lawn mower to cut the grass and do some cleaning in our driveway using a rake and a broom. What I like the most of using the lawn mower is that, seems like I get some exercise pulling it back and forth. Even my little boy had fun watching me and he tried to help me. Now he is getting tired and he is sleeping. So now I have time in front of the computer. You guys, how your weekend? Well here we have a nice weekend and no plans to go out for a walk for now.

A few months ago I shared about my youngest sister got married and now she announced that she is pregnant and her husband is so happy about it and of course our entire family as well. Garbage Day

It's Thursday once again and it's our garbage time here. Yes, I remember how sometimes we forgot it was garbage day, I laughed by myself. Many times I shared about we forgot what the day was, especially on garbage day. One time we really forgot until the following day when my husband and I asked each other, what day is it today? and we both said ohhh, yesterday was garbage day. So there was nothing else to do but to wait for the next Thursday for garbage day and throw out twice as much trash. Well, tonight we really didn't forget and we took all the garbage out.

Appointment for my tooth problem

The time I got pregnant with my little boy, it was the year 2007, I had root canal surgery because my tooth had a problem and made my face swollen. I just wanted to let my dentist pull my tooth to avoid the pain but she convinced me to save my tooth and get root canal surgery. I was hesitant because I was scared if it would affect my pregnancy but the dentist told me that it was OK and no harm would come to my baby in my tummy. So I made an appointment for a root canal and in minutes the said surgery was done. At first my dentist told me that she would make a crown for it in a few weeks after the surgery but after she checked my tooth, she said it was OK and no need for a crown. Until a few days ago one side of my tooth broke off and really bothered me to eat. I think if I would have gotten a crown for that tooth , It wouldn't have broke and I wouldn't have any problem with it now. Luckily we made an appointment for teeth cleaning a few days before it happened, instead my appointment being for cleaning it was to check my broken tooth which lead to having more surgery which is crown lengthening surgery. Today we made an appointment and it will be on the 2ND of June, but I haven't fully decided yet if I'll have it or not especially when it is quite expensive and I'm not sure if it is going to be covered by my husband's insurance, if not, then I may decide to let my dentist pull out my tooth.

Having been without a cell phone since last year it is hard sometimes especially when my husband goes out alone. I remember one time when he went out early in the morning for an appointment and I thought that he would be back home early, but he still hadn't returned in the afternoon. Bike Riding to the Park

It's Friday once again and so far it's really a nice warm day here. It's been 3 days now that the weather is so nice. Today we decided to have a rest and stay at home after 2 days of being out in the sun. Yes 2 days ago as I shared on my previous post that we were cutting the grass in our front and backyard. Yesterday we went bike riding with our little boy and directly to the park to let him play for a while. He really enjoyed it and had fun playing in the playground and especially when we went to the park lake he saw a lot of geese roaming on the ground and some were swimming in the lake. He really was amused watching the geese and was never afraid of them, in fact he wanted to go play with the geese, lol. Below a few photos I want to share.

Working outdoors

Working under the sun is fun and I enjoy doing it. I am talking about this because today we have a nice warm weather which is really good for working outdoors. My husband and I had a nice day working together in our front and backyard. We helped each other cutting the grasses with the lawnmower while our little boy was playing nearby us. This is what I miss though, that's why in times of cold weather I always shared about how I didn't like, the fact that my little boy and I were always inside the house and nothing much to do. When we have warm weather like now I can do whatever I want under the sun like going for a walk with my husband and my little boy and as I've said it's good for the working outdoors and for me this is good exercise as well.

Favorite show, Survivor

Sunday here is so nice and we just stayed at home all day and of course watching our favorite TV shows as well. Yes, we just finished watching one of our favorite shows on TV which is Survivor. We have been following it since the start of the show. But the bad news was, my husband and I had different choices of who would be the winner until only 2 players remained for the survivor finale and his choice (Erin) got voted out on the final show, so he finally decided to go with my choice. Guess what? My choice won the million dollars and also people's choice worth 100,000 dollars. For me JT is really deserving of what he got. Well, it's another reality show ended, hope they will have another one soon that we can watch.

Gloomy and warm weekend

We have a gloomy and warm weekend here. It's been days now that we've had gloomy skies. There were times that the sun came out and then suddenly back to dark again and sometimes with some rain. It's nice though at least the weather is not cold anymore and for me it's easy to decide whenever I go out with my family unlike before because it's hard for me to go out in cold weather. Honestly most of the time when it's cold I always stay at home with my little boy and let my hubby shop by himself, lol. Yes, I am very happy that my hubby does that for me, lol. I gave my little boy a hair cut

Since having my little boy, I've learn so many things. I know all mothers experience what I've experienced. Honestly I am so proud of being a mom that's why everything that happens here, with my little boy, I share and posted it here. One reason I'm talking about being a proud mom because I gave my little boy a hair cut a few days ago. It isn't perfect, but it looks pretty good. I don't know why I felt happy after cutting his hair, maybe because it's my first experience and I did it with my little boy, lol. I'll do better next time, I hope anyway. Getting busy with my little boy

How's your Thursday doing? Well, mine is doing fine and getting busy with my little boy. Yes, I have not much time in my computer especially now that he knows how to climb on the couch near where our laptop is located. He is easy to bother me or his dad when he gets bored playing with his toys and then suddenly climbs up towards us. Everyday he is getting more active and curious about everything and the more we need to supervise him. Anyway he is more important us here than anything else so we set aside the other things and do it later...

Our 2nd Wedding Anniversay

Before a another day passes, I want to share first our 2nd Wedding Anniversary. Two years ago on May 3rd was our wedding held at a nearby chapel. I was so happy at that time even though my family was in the Philippines couldn't attend on the special day of my life, but I had the support of my husband's family here. They were all there for our special day. I am thankful to all of them for that . Now I may share that special moment of ours with you guys..Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary to me and my husband,lol..

Also the month of May is really a good month for us because last night May 2nd my step daughter announced to us that her boyfriend proposed to her. So Congratulations to Bobbie and Joe. We really are both happy for both of you.

Selling skills

People who are good at sales talk impress me with their communication and selling skills. I enjoy selling things in fact when I was in the Philippines I had a little store at home and I was involved in buying and selling clothes and other items. But the problem was, I had somebody to help me sell the items and they were making a bigger profit than I was. I know now that if I was the one who did the selling, all the profits would have been mine. Now I am thinking about buying and selling clothes again when we move back to the Philippines and I want to get some sales training to help me be a better at sales.
