Our stairs

This is my little boy, you can see how he enjoyed going up our stairs while my husband was a few steps behind him. I took these photos a few weeks before something happened to him and my hubby on this stairway which I also shared on my past post. Since that happened, I have fear to let him go up and down the stairs even if we're with him. As you can see on the right photo how high the stairs are. That's why it really hurt my husband after saving our little boy from getting hurt worse. I feel grateful to my husband though for saving our little boy.

The weather we had was...

The weather we had was...Sunny, Warm, Cloudy, Strong wind, Raining, Hail, Thunder and Lightening. Yes all that I mention happened today. When I woke up in the morning had nice sunshine and it really was warm and a nice day to go outside. In the afternoon my husband asked me if I wanted to take our little boy and go with him to my step daughter's house to fix something and of course I said yes. On our way there to, I noticed that there were a dark clouds in the distance and I thought it's gonna rain. Really yes, it was raining on our way back home. It's my first experience riding in the vehicle with stormy weather. It was lightening, strong wind, heavy rain and it was really hard to see in front of the vehicle due to heavy rain. I kept telling my husband to drive slowly even though he was already, lol. I know my husband is a smart driver. Now it's quarter to 9 PM here and the stormy weather has gone, thanks to God.

The warmth of summer

It's a nice first day of the week here. We can feel the warmth of summer today and yes we have nice sunshine and warm weather here. Today we are using our air conditioner and because the temperature is in the middle 80's degree Fahrenheit. Well, life in the USA is really so expensive, lol. Yes I can tell that because we really use what we have here, the furnace for winter and the air conditioner for summer, so furnace and air condition expenses are really necessary. When I was in the Philippines, we never had air conditioning to use for our warm weather there. If we felt hot, we just use the fan or just went out to feel the breeze outside to cool off. That's why I can tell also that if we are in the Philippines to live, I know for sure we can save some money on the said expenses.

Accidents happened to my husband

While sitting here on the couch listening to music and doing some work in my blogs, it suddenly came to my mind about the accidents happened to my husband inside our house. It reminds me that whenever accidents occur, it really surprises and hurts us. Yes, it really did hurt me while watching my husband with a bloody finger. That was his first accident which happened 2 weeks ago. He was on our back porch doing something for my little garden. He used our old kitty litter box to hold soil in it and was putting a hole in the bottom for watering purposes of the plants. He used a cordless drill to make some holes in it when he accidentally put it directly through his finger. I really saw it happen and I was shocked and cried especially when I seen it was bleeding. So we rushed to the hospital ER and luckily it was OK. The second accident he had a few days ago when he and my little boy went upstairs and they both fell down the stairs. He had a broken toe which really made me shocked watching it and we had to make another trip to the hospital. To read the whole story just click this link. A quick post

It's almost ten o'clock at night here. Since my little boy is sleeping, I'm taking this opportunity in front of the computer to do some blog work while watching shows on TV. Yes, tonight is my schedule to chat with them. It was yesterday, but their Internet connection was bad and they were not able to chat with me. He eats better now

In a post I made days ago I was talking about weaning of my little boy from breastfeeding. The reason I weaned him was not mentioned on my post. Also, I shared about how hard it was for me. Yes, it was really hard when my little boy cried for my milk. But now a few days after of weaning, all of my hardship has gone and I'm very happy that my little boy and I can finally adjust. Also I found out that he eats better now that he can't depend on breast milk anymore. When I was breastfeeding him, he never ate good. He couldn't finish the small amount I gave to him. That's why I asked for advice from my family and friend and their advice was the same, to wean him from breastfeeding. It's been a few days since I weaned him and I am very happy with the result and he eats better now.

Playing outside

We have nice weather here, which is good for our little boy to play outside. Yes, he likes to play outside the house and every afternoon he asks his dad to bring him outside to play. Weaning from breastfeeding

Are you a mother who has breastfed a baby? If so, how do you feel in times of weaning from breastfeeding? Honestly, it's been over a day now since I stopped breastfeeding my little boy. It is really hard for me, physically and emotionally. Physically, I have breast pain which I feel now especially when I carry him. Emotionally I feel pain when I see my little boy cry and asked for breast milk. Honestly it's really hard for me. If I could, I wouldn't stop breastfeeding him, but I know I need to. If it wasn't for my mother's, husband's and friend Jessel's advice, who kept telling me to wean him, probably I would still give him breast milk, lol. Well, right now I decided that weaning him gradually is the best thing to do for me and my son. I hope he can adjust to the gradual reduction soon and not ask for breast milk anymore so that everything is OK.

We went to 3 stores

Here, we have a nice and quite busy Tuesday. But that's OK because it was really a nice, warm and sunny afternoon. Yes we went to 3 stores in the afternoon. First we went to Home Depot and one customer from inside the store told us that the computer system was broke and they were not able to check out any items, so what we did we went to Sears to get the things we needed which was paints for our walls and ceiling. When we went to Sears we couldn't find the paint we wanted so my husband decided to try Meijer but we couldn't get all the paint we wanted there either so we went back to Home depot and finally we got all the paint we wanted. So now that we have all the paint here for our walls and ceiling, we can start painting soon. I like to paint walls and I hope my husband will let me help him if our little boy gives me time. Let see.

Like a lazy boy

This is what our little boy looks like when mama and dada won't let him do something. Yes we won't let him climb on the couch alone due to the fact that he stands up playing there. But this time he behaved and acted like a lazy boy. Because this doesn't usually happen with him, I thought to take a photo and yes I caught his nice pose, lol. My husband and I were laughing that time because he runs directly to the couch, laid down and grabbed the remote for the TV. So both of us didn't react to what he did, I just took the photo and laughed.

A nice morning

Good morning everyone!!! It's the weekend once again and it started with a nice morning here. I woke up quite earlier than usual which would be great if I could start getting up early as a my daily routine. Pair of jeans

We have a nice and sunny Friday here. We went out in the afternoon with great weather. Yes we went out to buy some gifts for a baby shower this coming Sunday. Also we bought some jeans for our little boy. Today we are happy though because we were able to buy 3 pair of jeans for him even though it is hard to find the exact waist and length size for him. Today we luckily found 3 pair of jeans that really fit him good. But I hope the length will be exact on him even after he turns 18 months old. That way he can wear them a longer time. Passport for our little boy

Yesterday I shared in my other blog about how we went to the post office to apply a passport for our little boy. Yes, we did. Since we are planning to have a vacation we decided to get a passport for our little boy. It started when my husband started thinking about going to Canada for a vacation.
