A coupon from KFC

A change of the sleeping schedule of my little boy made me sleepy and tired whole day. I tried to have a nap this afternoon but I couldn't so I kept myself busy to keep myself alive, lol. But I didn't feel like cooking our dinner. Yes I didn't want to so I asked my husband to buy something for our dinner. I am happy though that a few days ago we received a coupon from KFC. So I asked my husband to use it and yes we had a bucket of chicken and more in the order and we enjoyed eating it, lol, but honestly I prefer to eat my cooking but eating from KFC or other fast food once in a while is great to.

Plants I planted in used kitty litter boxes

These are my plants I planted in used kitty litter boxes. Yes, this idea started when we bought some fresh red pepper and tomatoes. Every time I cleaned up the said vegetables to use for cooking I noticed the seeds were so fresh so I wanted to save and plant them to see how they would grow. A few weeks after I planted them, I saw the seeds starting to grow. I'm happy I shared it with my husband that I wanted to transfer them in a bigger space. My husband and I had thoughts about our old used kitty litter boxes. So we did it and now we see, they are looking bigger and healthier at the same time we used only a little amount of water for them, so we saved some water too. I hope they'll have time to grow so we can harvest them, lol.

Buy dog supplies

I grew up with pets. We had dogs and cats at home back in the Philippines. Since I was here in the USA I never experienced having a pet dog so I never had to buy dog supplies such as dog vaccines, wormers for puppies/dogs and some treats for dogs. My husband had 2 cats when I got here but they had difficulties to adjust living with me. They grew up with no people at home in the daytime while my husband was at work. So when my husband went to work, only me and the 2 cats were home, I tried my best to make them love me, lol. But only one of the cats loved me and she was so sweet but the problem was, she was sick. I was only with her for a year I think and then she died. The other cat was so wild with me. She always hurt me by scratching my arms if I'm came near her. That's why my husband and I decided to put her in an animal shelter since our little boy started to crawl. I do really miss her but our decision was made because we didn't want our little boy to get scratched or bit by her. Now that we haven't any pets, we would like to get a dog. Especially we found out that our little boy wants a dog too. Yes he likes to play with dogs and imitate the dog sounds. But due to our plans to move to the Philippines to live, maybe we'll just wait until we get there and I hope it will be soon.

My little boy with a laptop

While setting in front of the computer and thinking about what I should do first, it suddenly came to my mind to look at the latest photos of my little boy with a laptop. The photo shown was taken a few days ago. That's the way he really is most of the time when me or his dad is in front of the laptop, he really bothers us. That's why me and my husband can't be in front of the laptop at the same time because one of us needs to look after him or play with him. That time in the photo, he couldn't resist to asked his dad and let him put on his knee. After minutes on his daddy's knee he turned on the other laptop while daddy was busy with his work. While I was watching TV we noticed that he was typing a lot even though no letters came out, lol. He was really serious pressing the buttons. So I took some photos of him. I have no idea if it harms him at his early age playing on a laptop but he's not on it very often because we won't let him though. He is 17 months old now and he is really wants to do many things that his parents do, maybe because he is at that age of curiosity. I hope his eagerness will continue as he gets older.

Install the carpet

Yesterday while I watched my husband install the carpet in our living room, I really wanted to help him but he refused my help. Well, I can see how hard it was and only he knows how to do the work, so I understand why he refused my help. As you can see in the left photo that's the tools he used and it was quite heavy for me. All I could do was to clean up all the mess and I finished it today. So our little boy starts playing in his old area. He really missed playing in the living room a lot, that's where he played most of the time since he knew how to crawl and walk. Well he can play at this time though but in few days he will not be able to play for a day again I think, why?, because as you've noticed that the color of the carpet does not match color of the wall. We noticed it after my husband started to install the carpet. We both decided to redo our wall painting if we can find a good color to match the carpet. As I've said I enjoy painting, lol. Please don't comment me if I said that, I really do. Even if it's hard and tiring I still like it, maybe because I do it with my hubbydoooo, lol.

I want a house with a patio

I have no idea why I am so excited and always thinking about the design of the house we selected a few weeks ago on the Internet. Yes, since my husband and I planned to move to the Philippines to live and we have been looking at some house designs. Myself, I want a simple one with a patio. I want a house with a patio and nice patio furniture so that when family gets together, we will have a nice area to gather and enjoy the weather outside and breathe the fresh air. Finished painting

Today we are finished painting in our living room, supposedly that was last night after I helped my husband doing it but when we woke up in the morning we noticed that my work is not good enough for our eyes to watch, lol. Yes it wasn't a good result when we saw it in the morning. My husband said that's the work of an amateur painter, lol. He meant me. Yes it was my first time to paint walls and ceiling and I enjoyed doing it. I am so happy though that my husband let me help him. Tomorrow probably he starts installing the carpeting . It's painting time

It's painting time here. Yes, for a few days now we have been quite busy here. We cleaned up and transferred all things from light to heavy into other rooms which to make room to paint. Yesterday we finished transferring everything and today we started our painting. At first my husband did it and after he was half way done with the ceiling in the living room, I asked to help him. Yes he let me do it and I finished the rest and it looks good, lol. Of course I love my work because I love doing it. But you know what? I forgot to cook for our dinner, lol. I wondered why I had a messy arm and head after my painting while my husband had no paint on him. Photo shown is my arm and the other photo is our living room ceiling painting. So tomorrow we can start the walls which will be easier I think than the ceiling. After we finish painting, my husband plans to install new carpet on the floor.

Weather sometimes is unpredictable

Our weather sometimes is unpredictable. We are in summer now but sometimes we experience cool and rainy days. We ask ourselves sometimes, Is it summer?, due to the fact of the sudden change of weather. This topic just suddenly came to my mind because yesterday when we went out in the morning for my biometrics schedule and I thought I didn't need a coat but I did and even my husband and of course our little boy wore jackets as well. Also today while visiting some blogger pages, I also read their posts about the rainy weather at their location. Luckily, today we have a warm and sunny day. Well it's been days now that we have nice weather except in the morning we feel chill, but that's fine though as long as no heavy rains and strong winds like what we experienced a few weeks ago.

Did you cry? Yes, this question I asked after I watched Michael Jackson's funeral ceremony. I asked that question because the words of MJ's daughter touched me. Her experience was the same as mine because my father also died at my early age of 11. It reminds me how hard it was to be without a father suddenly and he would never come back again. Really I cried while watching MJ's daughter speaking with tears. Until my little boy saw me and said Eeeeeeeee and tried to grab me. He thought that I was hurt. So, I held him and laughed with tears because I know he couldn't understand yet. How about you? Did you cry watching it?

Sharing some photos

Sharing some photos... Yes I wanted to share these photos while I'm in front of the computer after visiting and dropping EC of blogger pages. I didn't have any idea what to do after I finished some work on my blogs, so I found some photos that I saved days ago and decided to share these 2 photos of my little boy. He looks like he's really so behaved, right? Yes, he was, lol. That was his second time to asked his dad to comfort him like that before he starts sleeping. The first time he just set besides his dad and I noticed that his eyes wanted to close but when I carry him to bed he cried so I put him back beside his dad. Then the other day, he did it again and I let him sleep good first before I took him to bed but before I did it, I took some photos of him and the result below. Happy 4th of July

It's Saturday and it's 4th of July... Happy 4th of July to all!!! Here, we just stayed at home. As usual, just playing with our little boy, watching TV, in front of the computer and doing some chores of course. It's really 4th of July here, since when I woke up in the morning I've heard big bangs of firecrackers, from nearby and far neighbors, lol. Yes it is really so noisy and it reminds me of every Christmas and New Year in the Philippines, my country. As long as it helps to make the celebration alive, well let us hear the big bang and enjoy it, lol. But I hope it doesn't disturb my son's nap. To all people here in the USA, Happy 4th of July.
