I am feeling sick

This is my second attempt to make a post and hopefully I'll be able to finished this one before I lose my Internet connection again. My first post attempt wasn't the same introduction as this one. I was sharing about my headache today. I am feeling sick but I don't have a fever. As I've shared in a few of my previous posts, Ive had a sore tongue, probably my headache was caused from that or maybe it's from lack of sleep for 2 successive days of waking up too early due to some appointments or maybe it's from both. Hopefully I'll get rid of my sore tongue soon because it really bothers me a lot.

Sore tongue

I've been having a problem with a sore tongue since a few days ago, so I looked on he Internet for some ways to get rid of it. It started when one of my tooth fillings broke. It was uncomfortable eating on that side until one day I bit my tongue once because of it. Since then I had a sore tongue which gave me more problems when eating. Yesterday I decided to have my tooth filling fixed. The problem is I still have my sore tongue and now I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of it especially now I have a tooth ache as well and I know for sure that it is from my sore tongue. Today I found out on the Internet that having a sore tongue means I need more vitamin B2. I think I need to take vitamin B2 due to the fact that I have had a sore tongue not only once, but many times now and I remember my mother telling me before to take vitamin B2 but I ignored her advice. Sorry mama, lol.

Roof leaking

Thanks to the rain we now know there is a problem with the roof leaking after 11 months from being built. I just noticed it while the rain started coming down strong this afternoon. I am glad we discovered the leak before it got much worse causing damage to the ceiling as well. I am not happy about having a leaky roof because the house was just finished being built 11 months ago. Luckily we noticed it early though. It really needs to be fixed, hopefully tomorrow or so and I hope no more roof leaking.

A long lost friend

A social network really helps people to share thoughts and keep in contact. At first I ignored my friends telling me to open account on Facebook, until I arrived here in the Philippines where most of my family already has an account. Finally I signed up and since then I always keep updated with it. I enjoyed reading comments on my friends wall and sometimes I share comments with them. Facebook also helped me find a long lost friend of mine and now I can communicate and keep up to date with her photos and her family who lives in Korea now. I enjoy talking with her about memories from our childhood together and how we both use to be so skinny. Now we are both amazed at how much weight both of us have gained. I remember saying to her when we were teenagers that I would always be skinny and she said she would be to. Now we both want to get rid of some fat especially in our belly, lol. The rain

It was humid with some scattered clouds around noontime here. I thought to myself at that time it was going to rain in a few hours. Yes I am right because before 4 PM here I heard a big bang of thunder and some sprinkles of rain. After 4 PM the rain got stronger. The strong rain lasted almost an hour. Now it's almost 5 PM and it's back to sprinkling again. We are happy for this rain because we need it for the new plants we planted.

Use the rain water

After our house was built we started buying and growing plants for our garden. Then my husband told me he was worried our water bill would be to high after watering all our plants. I told him not to worry because we can use the rain water we save that pours down the downspouts from the roof of our house. We just need to store it in plastic or stainless steel barrels. We decided to just use plastic barrels because we can buy them in town easily, but we preferred to have stainless steel because it last longer and is more environment friendly than plastic. Anyway, we can now save enough water to keep our plants watered for about 2 weeks which helps us keep our water bill low.

Sorry mama

Sorry mama, are you OK? Don't cry mama. Those are the words I heard from my little boy tonight. While sitting down here in front of the PC playing a bookworm game which is one of my favorite games on the Internet and doing some work on my blog my boy accidentally hit his knee on my back while he was playing on the bed where I was sitting. Really his knee hit hard on my back which made me say ouch and oh it's pain Michael. He just suddenly rubbed my back and said sorry mama, are you OK?, and don't cry mama. It was painful but the words from his mouth and his concern really made me very happy.

An afternoon nap

An afternoon nap is not what I'm used to. Even if I feel tired or feel sleepy, just to close my eyes and relax for five minutes afterward is all I need to feel OK. This happens sometimes in the afternoon when I let my little boy take a nap with his nursery rhymes on the Internet. While watching him with the nursery rhymes on makes me sleepy sometimes. I do really struggle for a while especially I'm not used to having a nap in the afternoon. As I've said, I'll be OK after five minutes of relaxing and taking a rest from my super active little boy. Yes his afternoon nap gives me some rest from him as well.

Checking emails

I woke up a few hours ago and just newly finished my breakfast after folding some clothes and putting them away and now I'm here in front of the computer to do some work on my blog, browsing on the Internet and checking emails. Preparing for bed

It is almost 10 PM here and it's our time inside the bedroom preparing for bed. Every night before we go to bed we take a little time in front of the computer if the Internet connection lets us while our hair drys. Most of the time we go to bed around 11 PM at the latest. Our little boy has his own likes too. Like us, he is in front of the PC watching Caillou on YouTube or else watching his other favorite cartoons until he starts getting tired and asks us to sleep now. Watching his favorite cartoons on the Internet helps him get tired and gives us some rests playing with him too. Anyway, a few more minutes here and then we'll go to bed soon, have a nice sleep everyone.

Using natural sleeping pills

Buy some Christmas decor

It's been a few weeks since we started planning to buy some Christmas decor for the house and 2 days ago we finally bought some. Our first plan was to buy a Christmas tree and yes we bought it but we found this Christmas decor hanging and it was really easy for us to decide to buy it as well. We really like it so we hung it early so it's our first Christmas decor in our new house and our next plan is to put up our Christmas tree after we buy some decorations for it. Hopefully next week it stands completely.

Lazy day today

A couple days of rain in a row made me lazy today. It's Sunday here and since I woke up in the morning I couldn't get anything done yet. I didn't even go to church. Keep some souvenirs

My younger brother is the kind of person who likes to make his family happy even if only in a small way. I remember when he first worked on a ship as a seaman, he tried to keep some souvenirs he bought in some countries where his ship was docked. I never forgot how he gave happiness to my grandfather with a special bundle cigars from Nicaragua. Aside from that he gives us small things such as T-shirts or other kinds of souvenirs that he can afford to buy. Just last week he handed a T-shirt and a cowboy hat to my husband from Texas, USA. I am so proud and thankful that God gave us a wonderful brother. Anyway, I am really so proud of all my siblings and all their different great characteristics they have showed us.

Our outdoor clotheslines

The clotheslines full of clothes are what we see every weekend here. Every Friday is our schedule for washing clothes and they won't dry up in the same day on our outdoor clotheslines. So every Saturday morning I have to get up quite early to hang them up. This morning when I got up there were some clouds but I continued hanging them up until lunch time I found out there were some sprinkles of rain so I rushed outside to get the damp clothes from the clotheslines but after I got a half of clothes off clotheslines the sprinkles of rain stopped so I hung them back up again. It's hard work, right? Well, yes because while I am writing this post it rained again which made me stop writing this post for a while to take all the clothes off the clotheslines again.

A pair of jeans

While I was in the kitchen busy cleaning after our dinner, I heard the ring of the telephone from our bedroom. I didn't want to answer it but I answered it anyway. It's a good thing I answered it because I think I have a pair of jeans coming for free, lol. Yes, my sister on the other line asked me what size is my waist line, with no hesitation and a laugh I gave her my waist size without even asking why. Until I heard from her saying that my younger brother wanted to know what our waist line sizes are and we both said laughing again, wow it's a pair of jeans!. I know for sure it is and I'm happy to receive it, lol. Well, thanks bro in advance and whatever it is I'm very happy to accept it.

Faucets for the kitchen and bathroom

When we built our house there was always building materials we had to buy. One of the things we needed to buy was faucets for the kitchen and bathroom. So we bought our faucets in the city where they have limited choices of bathroom faucets. I was never happy with the style of the bathroom faucet we bought before but now I'm happy that it has broken because I can finally replace it with a better style than before by shopping online.

It was quite tiring

It's another day of business. We just arrived back from the city for an appointment to process my little boy's papers. It was quite tiring traveling to and from the city. Aside from going to the place of the agency, we went to the bank first, then eating lunch after and finally to the agency. Our plan was to go to a mall where we can pass by on our way home but we decided not to because we were getting tiring and we really wanted go home to relax. I need to do exercises

I think I need to do exercises twice a week or so. I have noticed since I was pregnant with my little boy and now that he is 2 years 7 months old, I have had problems with backaches. A great day

Yesterday we had a great day. We had a long joy ride around the south half of Cebu. It was my dream to take this trip and yesterday we made my dream come true. Yes I'm from Cebu and to be honest I never visited or passed so many towns before, that's why my trip yesterday was a great day in my life. As my brother says, we have visited other countries but we could never visit some of the towns that are nearby and he is right about that. In our trip I enjoyed watching mountains and seas and of course some photos we took. Overall we really had a great day yesterday.

Gloomy weather today

As I've shared in my previous post we had gloomy weather today and it was opposite of my past few post when we had hot weather. Yes, it started yesterday we had some rains. Today it's gloomy with some showers of rain. It's nice though if it's rains because people have started their planting and yes my mother started planting corn yesterday in our area. When we were in the USA

I'm sitting down here in front of the PC, listening to music, playing a game on yahoo and browsing some Interesting sites.
