While looking online for ideas for my flower garden, I came across a site that offers great ideas for water fountains outside . They have a variety of water fountains for outdoors and indoors. They also offer free shipping if you live in the US which is a great deal considering the size and weight of outdoor fountains. I think a water fountain will be the perfect feature to add to my garden.

Yesterday, the weather was so hot and so we were all inside the room with the air conditioning turn on. Since it is not a nap time for my kids, they had something to work on. They both had colored pencils, crayons and paper with my supervision especially of my 22 month old girl. She really needs somebody to supervise her while using those things. My little girl isn’t good at drawing yet but still she still likes using crayons and some other materials for drawing. My 5 year old son has shown improvement in drawing. It’s the first time I noticed his finished drawing is quite clean with ideas on it unlike before he just would draw whatever is on his mind but this drawing shown above is really about family and yes he said that’s our family with the tallest one being his dad, me the second, him the third and the little one is his little sister. I am so happy to take a picture of it and yes I am so proud sharing it with you guys.

Online tutor

Since my son’s summer vacation will end in a few weeks and he will start school for this coming school year, I am reminded how busy I am again helping with his school assignments and tutorials for him. Since he is too young to do some things for school by himself, he really needs my husband’s and I to help him do some school assignments and tutor him. Last year he started a tutorial session in school for an hour with his teacher to prepare for his major examinations. This year we have no plans for him to have tutorial in school because it is hard to bring him to school twice in one day. I wish I could find an online tutor just like my friend’s son has, but my son is too young for that, he is just five years old unlike my friend’s son who is in secondary school. My friend started her son with an online tutor after he needed help with math one time and some of his classmates told him to try an online tutor. My friend tried the online tutor because it allowed him to at least stay at home. He had a home tutorial service before he tried the online tutorial but my friend’s son prefers the online tutorial.

Update to my blog

Why is it time won’t let me update my blog? Instead this time I just found time to make an update to my blog, then I was so disappointed after trying to log in but I couldn’t get logged in. I even had a hard time loading my blog page. I’m not sure if the server is busy at this time or if there is something wrong with my blog, hopefully nothing wrong though and I’ll try to log in again in a couple of hours so that I can post this on my blog. At this time I am using a notepad in my computer and so later I can copy and paste this post to my blog as an update.

Adjustable handle

The adjustable handle on my daughters high chair broke the other day, so I started searching online for a replacement. I found a site that sells antimicrobial handles, which are perfect for a high chair because it helps prevent microorganisms from growing. Now I just have to find the right size adjustable handle. I think I’m going to need my husband’s help to make sure I get the right size.

I am the kind of person who buys cheap things to save money. I look for a lower price at the same time quite durable. Most of the time I am waiting for sales on branded items or I’ll settle for a cheaper price on something of lower quality than what I want. Most of my family wonders why I do that. Especially my husband, he keeps telling me how can I find something nice if I choose the cheaper one. Yes most of the time he is with me when I’m shopping and if I see an item that has a high price then I’ll leave it and say no, it’s expensive. It sometimes starts us to argue and sometimes I can’t buy the cheaper item I wanted. Well, I grew up like this and yes it is hard to change. Anyway, if my husband decides to buy what he wants then I support him even if it’s expensive for me.

Sometimes it is risky when you buy things you’ve never touched and just seen pictures of. In my part, reading the description carefully and knowing about the things before buying them, I’ll end up happy with the things I buy most of the time. I am talking about buying online because we have two items that came in the mail yesterday. We bought these items 2 months ago and we waited so long to receive them. Until we decided to ask for a refund of the two items last week and yes the sellers refunded us fully. We were happy with the two sellers because they never said nothing, they just refunded us the amount we paid. Yesterday we received the two items. Since the two sellers both refunded us the amount we paid for the items, we returned the refunded payments back to them again. Honesty is the best policy.

Our hot weather

My little girl turns 19 month old in a few weeks. At her young age she already has a few complaints. One of those is our hot weather. Since it is summer here, of course it’s hot from the sunlight and most of the time it’s humid if there is no breeze from the north. We always hear her saying, it’s hot. At her age, it’s the second time she experienced summer. In her first summer experience, she did not know how to speak yet so we never heard any complaint or maybe last summer it was not hot as it is now because we experienced some rains in summer last year. This summer she has many complaints. So last week we bought her and my son a small swimming pool for them to cool off. They are both happy using it at the same time playing water with our supervision.
